Pickup & refunds

A wood stove is heavy and made to order. Here is how collection works, how to arrange freight if you need it, and how faults are handled under warranty and Australian Consumer Law.
1. Pickup from Ballarat
Orders on this site are priced for pickup from our Ballarat workshop in Victoria. Once your stove is ready we email you a pickup window.
Prefer delivery? Contact us for a freight quote and we will arrange shipping case by case, with the cost agreed before anything leaves the workshop.
2. Lead time
Stoves are made to order. Current lead time is 2-4 weeks from payment to ready for collection. If we think we will take longer than expected, we will contact you as early as we reasonably can.
3. On collection
When you collect, please:
- Bring a suitable vehicle and tie-downs (the Small is about 56 kg).
- Inspect the stove before you leave.
- Photograph anything that looks damaged or incomplete.
Email hello@muklukwoodstoves.com.au within 48 hours if something is wrong and we will sort it.
4. Returns & change of mind
Each stove is hand-built to your order. We do not accept cancellations or change-of-mind returns once payment is received or once your stove is ready for collection. Faulty stoves are covered by our warranty and Australian Consumer Law.
5. Returns process (faults & our errors)
- Email us so we can issue a Return Authorisation number.
- Re-pack the stove in its original crate where possible.
- We arrange and pay return transport for faults and our errors.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of inspection.
